The Prez Sez:

As our weather warms up, get ready for outdoor activities sponsored by CWN. Roving golf starts the end of April (weather permitting), and Wednesday evening biking starts this May on the Green Circle Trail.

Remember to join us at the dance this Friday evening April 26, at the Moose Lodge. Monthly dances are booked at the Moose through October, thanks to our dance chairperson, Kathy Brazaitis.

Thanks to those who read the book for Mike Miller’s fireside review and discussion. Those attending were treated to Chef Mike’s homemade chicken soup. Our third CWN book club this year is scheduled for June 2nd. Thanks to Al Hlavachek for hosting this upcoming event.

Four CWN members enjoyed a dine out this mid-April and the conversation was lively. Afterwards the group took in the Whooping Crane presentation. Thanks to Deb Purucker for setting this up. These dine outs are great fun, be sure to join us at Gorski’s this Sunday evening April 28, after roving golf, even if you don’t get a chance to join us for 9 holes of golf.
